Game Camera

Fun pictures on the game camera for a change!  This is Elle.
 Kids playing on the hill.
 Gia

 Spooky, ghostly boy.
 Zombie Boy

By the way, we put fresh batteries in the camera and moved it to the top of the hill since we are heading out in the morning.  It will be fun to see who visits us while we are in the south.

FAMILY 2019

Marc helped me find the lighting for the photo shoot inside the gazebo down at the park.  He actually is happy in this picture.  It was pretty dark so we had to find better lighting for the group photo's.
Love this group so much!  This is a shot that Baylor set the timer for.
 The Oergel's.
Grami and Poppi with their grandkids.  They are growing up so fast!  Sophie is 16, Ceci 14, Emma and Olivia 13, Marcus 12, Gia and Elle 10 and Baylor is 8.  Maybe I should mention Poppi is 70 and Grami is 67.  My-oh-my!
Getting ready for a kids snapshot.
Eight beautiful kids.  We are so Blessed to be their grandparents.
Marcus loved sitting in the tree.
Notice the number on Marcus's hand.  That was from a game the kids played outside.  Something called Hunger Games.
These guys are always ready for a photo shoot!
Men at work....no child was harmed during this experience.
Well, maybe one ouchie!  I believe this was from a hard whack with a sword.  Baylor was a great sport though, after a little rest and nourishment he was back up and playing hard.

Ice Skating

Bonners Ferry has one of the coolest things I've ever seen.  An artificial ice arena!  The families rented skates in town and the kids put on the helmets and started skating.
Our family was the only group on the ice.
Lights, cameras.....the only thing missing was ice arena music.
A few spills, but nothing broken.
Elle was ready to rock and roll!
Watch me Grami!
Gia did a twirl.
Elle is getting ready for the Ice Capades.
Olivia did some speed skating.
Amazing time for the cousins.

Dogs at play

Six month old Archie came over to Grami and Poppi's place for Christmas.  Archie is an "outdoor" dog so he played all day outside.  Enjoying his time with the kids and their toys.
This remote control car had him hopping.
Yikes, where did it go?
Such a sweet boy.
Archie didn't wander too far and everyone kept a close eye on him.  Archie has the most beautiful fur, looks like a shaggy bear for sure.
Bear on the other hand is an "inside" dog.  I actually don't believe Bear knows he is a dog.  If this dog had a human name it would be Rico Suave.  Bear enjoyed himself and entertained all of us.  So much fun to have Granddogs hanging out at Christmas.

Gingerbread houses

It was every man for himself, except for the men.  Marcus and Baylor teamed up to build their gingerbread house.  The only rule, it had to be edible.
Working hard to build their masterpieces.
Baylor and Marcus's home, complete with sausage and cheese.

Sophie's Ghetto house - yep, she's 16!
On the table ready for judging.  I have to say this was probably the hardest gingerbread house contest ever.  All of the houses were amazing.  Everyone got a vote this year.  When the numbers were tallied, we had a two way tie for 1st place with Elle and Ceci.
Olivia
Sophie
Gia - love her icicles.
Ceci
Elle's home, love that rice krispie treat tree!
For the first time ever, all of the houses were eaten!  The kids said the gingerbread was super delicious.
