The Amazing Race happened again this year. Our resident entertainer and actor Jo-ann Waytowich put the affair together with a ton of helpers and a huge crowd signed up for the event. Prizes were promised so you know Bruce and I signed up!
Becky and Eugene showed up with matching clown suits and decorated bicycles.
Barb and Dianna brought a whole new meaning to the race.....

Our first clue was to find a specific Bingo Ball in the swimming pool. Tom was the official for this challenge.
As we ran around the park we had quite the audience.

One of our clues involved a bra and oranges. I had to pitch the fruit and Bruce had to catch it in the bra.
Bruce built an Inukshuk! The Inuit peoples of Northern Canada used stone images to mark the way for weary travelers. Darleen and Bill were the Stationmasters for # 9

Success! Actually Bruce was a "ringer" for this test - he played accordion when he was 10, I'm pretty sure it came right back to him.....
Willa was part of the show - each contestant had to teach Willa a new trick. If Willa performed for you she received a chunk of carrot. Willa nicely sat and shook our paw! Station #3

Bob finished squeezing his orange juice right before we arrived. One of the extra credit points was to drink a glass of orange juice. Perfect way to get more energy to carry on!

Station #4 Clue - The view of the Superstition Mountains is lovely from the garbage bins.... each team had to draw a picture of the mountains for judging by the party goers! Becky and Eugene were crowned the winners in this category!
