Another fabulous sunset. What a beautiful area we live in.
At six am this morning Bruce woke me up to take pictures of the Bull Elk that have been hanging in the neighborhood. They are way too tame... they were not in the least impressed with me stalking them in my pj's. I sat on the rocks in the front yard snapping pictures. The bulls hung around until the neighbor Fred left for work around 7 and then calmly walked through Rick and Cindy's open pasture gate and headed for water.
I took around 300 pictures and deleted at least half.... these I just really like. They obviously know they are magnificent.
As the big boys headed to water I told them to come back in about a week so I can see how much their horns have grown. We will see!
Another sunset with the promise of bad weather for tomorrow. It is already getting cold and windy. Yep, this is what I remember about spring in the Kittitas Valley. Wind, wind and more wind.
